❤️Deliver the Love to the Elderly by Donating Dishes for Chines New Year❤️

For three consecutive years, Jen-Ai foundation provided fundraising amount from the program “Deliver the Love to the Elderly by Donating Dishes for Chines New Year” for Huashan social welfare foundation. In recent 3 years we invited workers of the hospital to purchase dishes for Chines New Year by small amount donation. This year we fundraised total 884 dishes and total amount was 618,700 NTD from 508 employees, and we expected solitary and disabled elderly to have a happy Chinese New Year.
❤️Grandpa Lin, 76 years old this year, lives in a small room of a friend’s sanheyuanin Nei Xin village,Dali. The space is small and there is no separate bathroom. There is only one bed for Grandpa Lin to live and put daily necessities. In early July last year, Grandpa Lin had difficulty urinating due to prostate hypertrophy. He was referred by the Huashan Foundation to Jen-Ai Hospital for medical consultation. Neighbors assisted in bringing him to the doctor to arrange examinations and gave him appropriate medications, so Grandpa Lin’s life was back on track. Whensolitary elders become ill, Jen-Ai Hospital can be nearby and provide timely care resources. 
❤️Grandpa Zhang is 74 years old, unmarried and no children. He lives alone in a bungalow in the narrow alleys of Nei Xin village,Dali. Most of his brothers and sisters have passed away. Grandpa Zhang usually eats and cooks by himself, and lacks food diversity and balanced nutrition. Every time when Lunar New Yearcomes, He feels especially lonely.
❤️In view of the aging population, we promote a number of services such as health work and voluntary services, and also play an important role in charity in tun district of Taichung city. ❤️Jen-Ai foundation has been cooperating with Huashan Foundation for many years to provide heartyLunar New Yeardishes to solitary elders in Dali and Wufeng district. On February 4, ❤️ Dean Guo Zhenhua of Jen-Ai hospital and employee representatives will also participate in sending the New Year dishes with the Jen-Ai Foundation and Huashan Foundation, so that the elders can feel the atmosphere of the New Year and the warmth of the society, jointly promoting the concept of local aging and implement community services for the elderly.
