Dream Plan for Grandma Mei❤️in 2021

The 88-year-old grandma Mei worked in Tai-an Hospital when she was young.❤️She is optimistic and loves to make friends. Every year, she saved annual leave, and traveled abroad with church members for more than a month, covering the United States, Singapore, Japan, etc. Since grandma Mei's son died of rectal cancer in 2007, she and her grandchildren have to rely on each other for life❤️

Grandma Mei was diagnosed with malignant melanoma in 2016.❤️She underwent chemotherapy and electrotherapy at Taichung Veterans General Hospital and started to feel bad. As grandma became weaker, it was difficult to climb stairs. Grandma Mei, who pays attention to appearance, now needs her grandson to carry her on the back up and downstairs for haircut and going out. She took the initiative to consult the hospice home care in May. Since October, Grandma Mei has been unable to eat and can only supplement her nutrition with liquid food. Her daughter in Singapore has always been concerned about Grandma Mei. She returned to Taiwan to take care of her for two months in the first half of the year. She had to leave Taiwan due to the expiration of her visa. She waited for several months before applying for the opportunity to come to Taiwan again. The hospice home care team learned about this and planned to leave unforgettable memories for Grandma Mei who and her family. They started a plan to celebrate her birthday and fulfill her dream.❤️

Grandma Mei's daughter couldn't wait to go home in the middle of the night as soon as she was released from quarantine on 10/24,❤️ just to spend more time with Grandma Mei. On the afternoon of 10/25, the hospice home care team arrived at the case's home as scheduled, and received a big welcome from grandma and daughter who couldn't hide their joy. When grandma heard that she was going to take a photo, she immediately asked to go back to the room and change into decent clothes. Grandma Mei really insists on her appearance no matter how weak she is.❤️ When the nurse took out the hand mold materials, measured the amount of powder, added water and stirred, grandmother Mei was curious, and amazed then that the team knew so much. First time experience of the hand mold, grand Mei was amazed. Then, the grandson brought out the cranberry cake prepared by the team, and everyone clapped and sang the birthday song. ❤️Grandma was a little overwhelmed about making a wish and blowing candles for the first time. The room is surrounded by a warm and happy atmosphere. The grandson, who always has a cool expression, does not hesitate to express his thanks and love under the atmosphere. It was not until the hospice home care team left that Grandma Mei was reluctant to end today's party. ❤️
