New Year💝Calligraphy Activity for the Elderly

🔹On January 7th, Jan-Ai foundation and the Huashan Social Welfare Foundation brought 50 solitary elderlies  to Ming-Der Senior High School to participate in the 8th 【Thousand Years Calligraphy】 activity. The old babies can celebrate the New Year in advance, and make a hundred-year-old grandpa to fulfil his dream of going to school again❤️

🔸Grandpa Liu, who lived in Heping District, worked in agriculture and lived in poverty in his early years. Therefore, he only studied in a primary school for two years. Every time he thinks about it, he feels regretful. He has always wanted to go to school again. Along with the ancient manner of apprenticing: dried meat, celery, red beans, lotus seeds, longan and red dates❤️grandpa Liu handed the six gifts over to the principal of Ming-Der Senior High School, Lin Yansheng, to make up for the regret of not being able to study when he was a child.

🔹The Jen-Ai Foundation has supported Huashan social welfare foundation's New Year donated dishes for the elderly for 8 consecutive years🎈and also donated 200 copies on the spot, hoping that more people in the society will care about the elderly together and become the guardian angel of the old babies.

🔸Reunion is the most important things during the New Year's festival. Activities such as fireside gatherings and spring walks are used to unite the whole family. However, it is difficult to meet the expectations for a Chinese New Year for the solitary elderlies due to their physical and economic condition❤️The foundation has held a New Year’s food fundraising event for 8 consecutive years, allowing many elderly, disabled, and solitary elderly living in the community to reunite for the New Year, so that they can feel the embrace of home and accompany them for a good New Year❤️
