Congratulations! Jen-Ai Foundation🔹Start from Jen-Ai, Create Small but wonderful Non-profit Business🔹has passed 2022 SNQ certification in public service category. The foundation provides a number of social welfare services in the local area, and it is a great honor to be awarded the SNQ certification as the first foundation in the nation that promotes patient safety knowledge and skills🎉

The founder Liao Quansheng and his son Liao Ren established the foundation in January 1988. "take from the society, use it for the society", they began to help poor patients, participated in the Rotary Club, the Red Cross and other public welfare organizations, often donated money to help poor families, set up scholarships for students with outstanding talents, and spared no effort in caring for blind students in Huei-Ming Schoo❤️


After Chairman Chan Liao Mingi took over, he set up a patient safety promotion account in 2011 based on his own medical expertise and launched various patient safety promotion activities, and founded the Taiwan Patient Safety Culture Club (TPSCC), advocating patient safety and improving various patient safety as the goal, reducing the occurrence of medical adverse events, encouraging domestic medical institutions and the public to create a two-way interactive partnership, strengthening the participation of the public and medical service personnel in patient safety, and striving to create a higher quality medical environment. Although the foundation is small in scale, it still spares no effort to expand its services, and cooperates with social welfare organizations to create multiplier services and promote social services. The foundation adheres to the principle of step by step, “Where there is a need, there is us” and strive to become a small but wonderful, all-round and multi-functional social charity and welfare foundation💖

Chairman Chan Liao Mingi said that he has led different teams in the past and passed the SNQ certification three times in different fields. It is a rare honor to pass the certification of public service category this time. “First of all, I would like to thank the founder and also my father, Chairman Liao Quansheng, my elder brother president Liao Ren who has always supported the various operations of the foundaiton, and the hardworking conference staff of the foundation. Thank them for their front-line handling of various activities and providing multiple social services in the community💖
In addition, the Taiwan Patient Safety Culture Club (TPSCC) established by me under the foundation promotes the importance of patient safety to Chinese people around the world through blogs, Facebook, podcasts and other platforms, and organizes World Patient Safety Day Walk Activities. I imported the APP “Patient Aider” from the United States, translated its content into a Chinese version, and arranged domestic hospital directors to visit top foreign medical centers. It is truly the only public welfare organization in the nation that aims to promote patient safety. Hope that promoting patient safety will allow more people to know, agree and participate together.”

Tsu Qixiang, the director and executive secretary who is the driving force behind the SNQ certification and responsible for oral presentations, said that in the past, most organizations participating the SNQ were project services or newly developed products or improving and strengthening processes as the theme of the competition. This time, we participated with the foundation's purpose and business core 🔹 Start from Jen-Ai, Create Small but wonderful Non-profit Business 🔹 as the theme and was affirmed. It shows that the foundation’s continuously introducing services in the changing social environment over the years, and maintaining a clean conference and financial aspect, are correct in direction and process.

In addition, director Tsu also mentioned three reasons for passing the SNQ certification: First, 🔸The selfless trust and financial support of the board of directors for decades. Second, 🔸Profession in their own duties, the 12 business projects transforming into social services, patient safety, and community building, and resource link innovation projects are now affirmed by the review. Third, the enthusiasm and centripetal force of the foundation staff.

Assistant commissioner Chen and social worker Qiu of the foundation happily expressed that they have participated in almost all the projects and activities of the foundation since they took office, including evaluating the financial assistance of poverty and disease cases, cooperating with the district office to visit neighbors and caring for the solitary elderly in the community, subsidizing poor students with scholarships, cooperation and promotion of handicapped art groups, Mid-Autumn Festival and New Year’s activities and so on. In the process of participating in these activities, they deeply felt that the foundation makes the most appropriate checks on every donation and resource, and then gives the resources to the cases and organizations that really need it. Although they are busy with fulfilling work and activities, they feel ease in the heart and that this is a place worthy of dedication and work. They feel very happy to be awarded the SNQ certification this time. “Do the right thing and do things well”, since its establishment 35 years ago, the foundation has been engaged in social charity and emergency relief based on the original intention the founder. The service orientation is to give priority to the citizens of Taichung and gradually expand to the people in the surrounding areas. In the concept of " take from the society, use it for the society ", we constantly observe social changes and increase service goals. In terms of execution strategy, the most streamlined personnel costs are used, and the donations are used where they are most needed through a complete execution and supervision process, using business management to implement various social welfare projects, integrate social resources, and maximize the service benefits💖
