🎀The Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching. In order to care for the economically disadvantaged elderly living alone in the area, our Association and the Dali District Office cooperated to organize activities to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with the elders on the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
🎀The activity combines private foundations, volunteers, professional social workers and neighborhood leaders to jointly promote the well-being of elderly people living alone, implement localized services, and go into the neighborhoods step by step to work hard to care for the disadvantaged. 💖After a public asset survey, most of the recipients are poor and helpless elderly people with poor living conditions who really need help. Before the visit, the social workers of the foundation discussed with the volunteers the situation of the clients they had served before, and provided timely supplies. They also visited vulnerable elderly people living alone in the community to better understand the situation and living conditions of the clients, and provided assistance to the elderly if they needed it.
